Mark McCarroll

 

Mark, a product of Christ the King HS (Queens Village, NY) and a 2004 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, where as a Panther, Mark played for Ben Howland and Jamie Dixon and helped led his team to the Big East final game (twice), NCAA Sweet 16 (three times) and as a senior he was named team’s Most Improved Player.

 

After his time in Pittsburgh, Mark began his professional career playing throughout the world, (i.e. China, Sweden, Venezuela, and Mexico) which allowed him the opportunity to work with many of the world's best coaches.  

 

Mark, as an assistant coach, was apart of the Christ the King's three straight CHSAA Championships. During his tenure at the Queens Village school, they produced over 10 Division 1 players.  Currently, Mark is the head coach of the Dwight School's Middle School program.  

 

Working primarily as Footprintz' "BIG" specialist Mark's work outs focus on post moves, attacking from the post and mid post areas as well as game related shooting.  

 

During the summer months he serves as consultant to many of Northeast's AAU programs most notable the NY Rens.
